Colfax Elementary School provides all students with a rigorous academic experience while fostering a positive student culture of high expectations and support. Since 1887, Colfax has been and continues to be an excellent neighborhood elementary school option for your child. Colfax is a diverse community with a joyful learning environment. Colfax is located on Tennyson Street and West Colfax in the Sloan's Lake/West Colfax neighborhood and our staff, students and families are united by the values of Responsibility, Curiosity, Community, Perseverance and Positivity. In addition to students' core subject areas of Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies, students enjoy daily enrichment classes in Art, Music and PE/Dance. We also offer free Discovery Link programming and enrichments by ELCS.
