Gust Elementary is a traditional elementary school and a Highly Gifted and Talented Magnet School serving 600 students. Programs include Qualistar-rated ECE through fifth-grade serving Spanish and English among other languages. Gust offers advanced kindergarten programming. We offer an academic program with a traditional focus on reading, writing, math, science and social studies. Gust also offers physical education, art, choir and technology for students. Gust offers before- and after-school care through the KidSmart program. Gust hosts teacher sponsored after-school clubs. Clubs have included running club, chess club, basketball club and more. Our strong partnership with DPS Community Resources facilitates a Fall Festival, Science Night, Art Night and Multicultural Night. We are the Gust Tigers!
