At Howell, we are a family that grows leaders! Farrell B. Howell offers educational programming focused on developing the whole child through the "Leader in Me" philosophy. We believe that every child possesses unique strengths and has the ability to be a leader at school and in every aspect of their lives. Balancing core academic courses, we offer a diverse selection of art education, athletics and after-school programs. Howell's faculty and staff help every student learn how to become self-reliant, take initiative, plan ahead, set and track goals, do their homework, prioritize their time, manage their emotions, be considerate of others, express their viewpoint persuasively, resolve conflicts, find creative solutions and value differences. We offer the following classroom options in ECE: full-day dual language preschool for 4-year-olds; full-day English preschool for 4-year-olds; and half-day English preschool for 3-year-olds. Students who turn 3 or 4-years-old on or before Oct. 1 are eligible for these programs.
