West High School is a public school designed to promote academic excellence leading directly to college and career readiness. We empower students with a rigorous education that promotes leadership as well as the academic and social emotional skills to compete in the global market. Denver West honors the history of the West campus by continuing the fight for justice and access for all students, much like the Denver West community did over 50 years ago during the 1969 protest. Learn more about the history of the Denver West Campus on our website. Our mission is to dismantle systemic racism by cultivating an inclusive school environment that provides a personalized education to every student with the opportunity to engage in rigorous college and career coursework and experiences.
